Design LED pathway light In Vitro Bollard with diffused light


The particularly robust and high-quality LED pathway light In Vitro of the design light manufacturer FLOS from Italy is made of die-cast and extruded aluminum. The upper part of the luminaire houses the LEDs, which are enclosed by an opal diffuser and an outer, larger protective glass made of clear borosilicate glass. In Vitro provides diffused light for pathway and driveway lighting.

In Vitro was designed in 2020 by French designer and architect Philippe Starck, who works according to the principle of reduction, that is, omitting unnecessary decor and reducing the product to the most necessary and important. Starck has already been active in all sorts of areas of design and architecture. He designed a motor yacht as well as a lemon squeezer. He designed a brewery building in Japan and a motorcycle. For the Italian company FLOS he regularly designs lights for indoor and outdoor use.

FLOS has been in existence since 1960, and the company's products and its designers have won the most prestigious Italian industrial design award, the Compasso d'Oro, several times. in 2013, the manufacturer received the Red Dot Design Award
