KTRIBE S1 pendant light from FLOS with elegant lighting effect thanks to translucent lampshade KTRIBE S1 is a pendant light designed by Philippe Starck that impresses with its extremely modern appearance and sets special standards in terms of design. The outer shape of the lampshade is classic, although PMMA is already a very modern material. However, the use of a second, internal lampshade can be described as innovative. This is made of translucent, white polycarbonate and has a rounded shape. However, this is only partially visible, as the outer lampshade is silver aluminium-coated and only really translucent in the upper part. This means that the light escapes mainly downwards and contributes to an atmospheric ambience - of course not without enhancing the room as a whole with the modern presence of the designer pendant light. The FLOS company has now been in existence for over 50 years and, with a team of renowned designers, creates special, high-quality lights that are widely recognised internationally and have received numerous awards.
