A design classic from 1962, reissued with LEDs: the Taccia small table lamp


It’s hard to believe that the Taccia table lamp was designed as far back as 1962, as its design looks futuristic and modern. The LEDs, which are as bright as they are energy-efficient and are also dimmable, produce 1,290 lumens and are housed in the base of the table lamp. This creates indirect and reflected light. It has long been no secret that indirect light can create a particularly atmospheric ambience, and so design from the early days of the ‘Space Age’ combines with a stunning lighting effect to form an impressive whole.

The lights from the Italian company FLOS are all of the highest quality and meet the most exacting design standards. The reflector of the Taccia small table lamp is made of aluminium, whilst the diffuser is crafted from transparent, handblown glass. The light intensity can be adjusted from 10 to 100 per cent using the switch dimmer.
