Design by Jette Scheib: pendant lamp OysterTwo metal rings, which were woven with cotton threads, are the basis for the unusual lampshade of the pendant lamp Oyster. It has its name not entirely without reason, because visually it is reminiscent of an oyster in an abstract sense. The pearl in the center is represented in the lamp by the illuminant, which is hidden under a round cover. This disc ensures that the light from the bulb does not cause glare. The designer of this series of lamps, Jette Scheib, seeks inspiration in her surroundings, people and in their behavior towards each other, as well as in their interaction with objects. She designs lamps that are not only functional, but above all create a cozy atmosphere and have personality. Jette Scheib studied in Berlin at the University of the Arts and now lives and works in Barcelona.
