Product description

Oyster - extravagant table lamp by designer Jette Scheib The most striking feature of the Oyster table lamp is probably the lampshade, which consists of two metal rings interwoven with cotton threads. In the centre is an opaque disc that protrudes slightly and conceals the bulb. The disc is not only decorative, but also ensures that the light from the bulb does not dazzle. The design of the table lamp is reminiscent of an oyster, hence the name Oyster. The bulb represents the pearl inside the oyster. German designer Jette Scheib, who lives in Barcelona, created the Oyster series of lamps. Scheib seeks inspiration in her surroundings, in people and in their behaviour towards each other as well as in their interaction with objects. She designs functional lights with personality.
