Airy Papillon XS designer wall light with shelf and plug-in lead
This enchanting Papillon XS wall light by designer Élise Fouin features geometric shapes in a 1950s style and draws the viewer’s attention to the airy, lightweight lampshade. Three domes of varying sizes, stacked one on top of the other and crafted from airy metal wires with a wavy edge, form the unique lampshade around the E14 socket. When the light is switched on, it creates stunning lighting effects that captivate with a unique interplay of light and shadow on the wall. Like a lantern, the lampshade hangs from a curved rod, which features a round shelf at the lower end for displaying favourite objects. A cable with a plug is attached to the light, on which the on/off switch is also fitted.
Designer Élise Fouin focuses on the material itself, whilst allowing the object to take a back seat.
