Aplomb - this pendant light by Foscarini certainly lives up to its name. Derived from the Latin word "plumbum" for "lead", the term "aplomb" stands for a straight, confident posture and a self-assured demeanour. These are qualities that the light undoubtedly possesses.

The pendant light made of hand-cast concrete feels most at home above bar counters or kitchen counters – in other words, wherever direct, spot lighting is required. With its rather cool and heavy look, this small light source is best suited to areas characterised by an industrial style. The delicate design of the light gently softens the heaviness and coldness associated with the massive material and instead imbues it with the necessary elegance.

There are virtually no limits to where this light can be placed and arranged. Aplomb is just as impressive as a solitary light as it is in a composition of several lights hung evenly in a row or at different heights.
