Foscarini Binic - table lamp with a colourful design The Binic table lamp from Foscarini immediately impresses with its appealing shape and colourful appearance. The small village of Binic in French Bretagne was the inspiration for the name of this table lamp. Ionna Vautrin, the French designer of the light, has always been fascinated by the Breton seafaring world and has channelled this fascination into the design of the light. In fact, the form of the lamp is vaguely reminiscent of a lighthouse, which has always shown sailors the right way along the coast. Like a lighthouse, the Binic table lamp with its relatively large light outlet covered by a satinised polycarbonate diffuser provides an intense, conical light. The light head, which is angled downwards, not only fulfils its purpose of direct light distribution, but also symbolises a friendly gesture of affection with which the light immediately finds favour. With its modern character, Binic inspires young and old alike and will not look out of place anywhere, as the table lamp can be set up in a wide variety of places - in the office as an additional light source, on the shelf in the living room or even in the children's room as a colourful eye-catcher.
