Foscarini Birdie LED piccola – a table lamp for a diffuse lighting atmosphere

The Birdie LED piccola table lamp not only makes a statement with its puristic, but nevertheless exceptional design, but also with the lighting ambience that fills its surroundings. The conical-shaped lampshade made of translucent polycarbonate creates a diffuse lighting atmosphere, while at the same time directing light downwards. The touch dimmer, which allows Birdie LED piccola to not only be switched on and off but also to be dimmed gradually, is found on the filigree branch, which sticks out from the shaft and gives this table light its association with a tree. The branch looks as if designed for a little bird – hence the name "Birdie."

Foscarini, a renowned Italian light manufacturer, is known for its unique, first-class lighting fixtures. Once a coherent design concept is in place, no costs and effort are spared in making it a reality. In 2011, the Birdie lighting series was created under the leadership of the two designers Ludovica and Roberto Palomba.
