Timeless, elegant and with a sophisticated lighting effect, the LED pendant luminaire Buds 3 knows how to convince at any time. The design of this elegant luminaire dates back to the 1990s, when Rodolfo Dordoni designed a collection of table, floor and pendant lamps with glass diffusers for the Venetian luminaire manufacturer Foscarini, which also included the Buds series. Their special feature was and still is the special glass shades, which are made with a special technique and have five layers of mouth-blown glass.
The layer inside is in a straw-yellow colour, the other four layers are in the colour of the lamp. Thus, when switched off, the Buds 3 luminaire appears rather cool and sober, when the light is switched on it suddenly appears warm and pleasant. The reason for this is the yellow layer on the inside, which intensifies the warm white light of the LED lamp supplied and also provides a pleasant undertone to the outside colour through the glass layers. As an LED pendant light, Buds 3 is perfect for table lighting, whether in the private dining room, kitchen or even in the restaurant.
