LED pendant light Chouchin Reverse 1 by Foscarini with warm white LED module, opal/gold


Diffuse light to all sides and direct lighting downwards is provided by the LED pendant lamp Chouchin by the Italian lighting manufacturer Foscarini. The shade of the lamp is made of blown opal glass. In its bulbous shape, which is studded with a ring in golden lacquer towards the bottom, it is reminiscent of the traditional Far Eastern lanterns made of paper and bamboo, which are used in Japan as illuminated signs in front of pubs or as lucky charms in front of houses.

The French designer Ionna Vautrin designed the Chouchin lamp series for Foscarini. The ambition of Ionna Vautrin is to design objects that are immediately understandable, yet surprising and combine industrial as well as poetic elements. Very versatile and suitable for the living area as well as for hotels, cafés and restaurants, the pendant lamp Chouchin offers a pleasant general and table lighting. Individually or combined to several lamps of different versions, the series Chouchin can also give a very special magic and warmth to a large area.
