Foscarini Pendant lamp Chouchin Reverse 2 with E27 LED, white with black rim
Contrary to the original versions of the pendant lamp Chouchin, where the glass is painted in color and only the lower edge at the end of the shade is left white, the color scheme has been reversed in the Reverse version. Here, the cylindrical, rounded shade made of blown glass is left opal and only the lower ring or the cap provide a coloured contrast. This design causes that the light of the lamp Chouchin Reverse 2 shines downwards as well as diffusely all around through the shade into the room. The softness of the light of the glass pendant lamp Chouchin convinces not only in the living room, but also in restaurants, bars or cafes.
Traditional Japanese lanterns inspired the French designer Ionna Vautrin to design the Chouchin lamp series for the Italian lighting manufacturer Foscarini. The lamps of the series are designed in different shapes and different color variants and are particularly effective when several variants are combined with each other in a room.
