Elegant wall lamp Gem semi with three-dimensional pattern


The name "Gem" means translated as " jewel" or "treasure" and is a more than fitting name for this shapely lamp. The wall lamp represents the preciousness of the material glass and stands for the artistic handicraft for which the premium manufacturer Foscarini is so famous worldwide. When switched on, the lamp enchants with a multifaceted interplay of different shades of light and presents itself as a noble decorative object even when switched off.

Gem features a mouth blown glass shade with a geometric pattern of grooves on the surface. The satinised glass blocks the light, giving the room a cosy glow. The arrangement of the grooves gives the luminaire a flowing look that is very soft to the eye. In designing the luminaire, designers Ludovica and Roberto Palomba were inspired by sound waves that hit a liquid. The result is the flowing pattern that characterises the Gem wall luminaire and makes it an exceptional light accent.
