Foscarini Madre - LED table lamp with integrated flower vase Full of poetry, the LED table lamp Madre is both an elegant lighting object and a practical flower vase. Presented for the first time at Euroluce 2019 in Milan, this new product from Italian lighting manufacturer Foscarini will delight fans of poetic design. The bulbous body only looks complete when branches, leaves or Blüte (dried) are draped in the vase made of frosted borosilicate glass, perfecting the overall composition. The round opening that Madre has at the front literally provides a view into the artistic designer piece. At the same time, it gives the light depth and gently reflects the light outwards, even when switched off. Equipped with a dimmer, the brightness of the LED light can be adjusted as required. Madre was designed by Andrea Anastasio. Always fascinated by exploring the poetics of conceptual art and its potential convergence with industrial design, Andes began designing furniture and accessories for internationally renowned Italian companies - including Foscarini. His first design for Foscarini was the Filo product family.
