Foscarini Satellight - LED pendant lamp in mouth blown glass
The Satellight LED pendant luminaire is a pendant luminaire with diffuse, downward directed light. Its lampshade is made of mouth-blown, transparent glass, which houses a white glass sphere inside, which contains the built-in LED light source. When the light is switched on, the glass ball seems to float like the moon in the night sky, and at the same time is trapped in a glass bell. This special look is the basic concept of the Satellight, whose design was developed by Eugeni Quitllet. The designer calls himself a "Disoñador", a made-up word, half designer, half dreamer. Satellight is his first collaboration with Foscarini.
