Spherical designer pendant light Braille - made in Italy
The pendant light Braille is a model designed by the Italian designer Matteo Ugolini, who dedicated this design to his friend, the founder of Karman, Davide Diamantini. Ugolini is one of the principal designers for the light manufacturer Karman, which is based near San Marino in the Italian province, and designs and produces all its products in Italy.
The lights in the Braille series are handblown and then furnished with a pattern which is reminiscent of a tribal pattern in terms of the symbols. However, the way in which it is imprinted is reminiscent of the Braille script which is read by blind people. The raised characters of this script are identified by the readers with their fingers. The patterns on the frosted glass body of the pendant light are also raised and can be felt with your fingers.
