The arm of the light has a total of three joints, all of which can be swivelled through 300°, and there is a swivel mechanism on the base that can be used to rotate the entire light. The table lamp is carefully handcrafted by the French lamp manufacturer Jieldé, as evidenced by the small plaque with an individual number on the lampshade. The company was founded in the 1950s by Jean-Louis Domecq, who designed the first flexible and robust lights for workplaces in factories and workshops.
