Slim pendant lamp Cell with cage made of Italian craftsmanship


The Italian designer Matteo Ugolini is one of the main designers of Karman, the Italian-based manufacturer of the Cell lighting series. Karman is known for unique designer lamps, which are made of various materials and have their own charm. The designers create lamps with a unique selling point and have them handmade in Italian craftsmanship.

The design of the pendant lamp Cell is inspired by the millennia-old Chinese paper lanterns, which with their filigree shape rose into the sky when illuminated. The delicate stainless steel rods have a shiny bronze finish and bend gracefully around the white methacrylate lampshade. The light source inside emits its light indirectly and glare-free. The open design of the cage makes Cell appear very light and filigree. Thanks to its IP65 protection, the luminaire is ideally suited as a pendant luminaire for outdoor use and lets the light rise into the sky as gracefully as paper lanterns once did.
