Inspiration from China - Design in Italy - the Cell floor lamp with cage


A unique designer piece and another representative of the Cell family of lamps is this floor lamp, whose open cage of metal rods with a shiny bronze finish is reminiscent of the millennia-old paper lanterns from China. Designer Matteo Ugolini took this inspiration and he made the Cell luminaire family appear as filigree and feather-light as the Chinese models once did. The white linen lamp shade inside the cage allows the lamp to emit light gently and glare-free into the room, while creating a pleasant atmosphere.

Ugolini is one of the main designers of the Karman company, the manufacturer of the Cell family of lamps, which is based in Italy and uses Italian craftsmanship to produce unique handmade designer lamps. Each lamp exudes a special charm.
