Pendant light or wall light? Designer light Makeup from Karman


With the LED wall light Makeup, the Italian designer and Art Director of Karman, Matteo Ugolini, has created an unconventional light fitting, as it deviates from the usual conventions of a wall light, as far as its design and its installation are concerned. It has a wall connection, but the cable that comes out of there is so long that it has to be attached to the ceiling again, with the result that the lampshade of the wall light is ultimately suspended from the ceiling like that of a hanging light.

In terms of the design of the glass lampshade, the wall light Makeup could be described as a homage to the disused traditional light bulb. The top part of the closed lampshade is frosted white, the bottom part is transparent. In contrast to the traditional light bulb, this model is fitted with modern LEDs - a truly skilful combination of old and new.
