Elegant pendant lamp Gè from Kartell


A classically held lampshade in a slightly conical shape, made entirely of plastic - this is the pendant lamp Gè, designed by Italian designer Ferruccio Laviani. However, behind the pleated shade hides even more, because it is made entirely of so-called polycarbonate 2.0, which is made from renewable raw materials. Thus, on the one hand, this lamp does something for our well-being by bringing a pleasant atmosphere and elegance to the room as general lighting, and on the other hand, because it is made of environmentally friendly and sustainable materials.

Kartell is an Italian designer brand based in Milan, whose trademark is furniture made of plastics. Since 1949, these furniture pieces have been produced in Italy. Kartell places a lot of emphasis on a coherent interplay between innovation and classic design. That they are really good at what they do is proven by the numerous awards the brand has received over the years. Among them are nine Compassi d'Oro - one of the most important awards in the field of industrial design.
