Black outside, golden inside: LED pendant lamp Gè


Pleated, but not fabric - the lampshade of the pendant lamp Gè enchants with a structure that is reminiscent of typical pleated fabrics, for example also of a classic pleated skirt. However, the slightly conical shaped shade is not made of fabric; it is completely made of plastic. Black on the outside and gold on the inside, it also creates a shiny light effect that is intensified by the golden inner surface.

The company Kartell, located near Milan, is known for its articles of daily use made of plastic, which include furniture as well as kitchen utensils or even lamps. Since the 1950s, national and international designers have been working for Kartell. Over the decades, the Italian design company has not only received several awards for its products, but has also built its own museum, with the help of which the ideal and material legacy of the company is to be preserved.
