Striking Geen-A floor lamp with carrying handle

Made of polyester powder-coated steel, the Geen-A floor lamp fits perfectly into a minimalist interior design. A tall, cylindrical base ensures stability and a thin rod leads to the semi-circular lampshade. A special feature is the handle above the light source, which is useful for moving the light. The warm white light source shines exclusively downwards through the metal lampshade and provides reading light in an armchair or by the bed. An integrated dimmer helps to adjust the brightness to the current conditions.

The Italian architect and designer Ferruccio Laviani created the design of the Geen-A with the joy of reading in mind. The design is a small homage to his mother, who liked to enjoy her free time with a book in her hand. The curiosity that is aroused when looking at a book cover and the effect that books transport the reader into a fantastic world create a special mood that the artist would like to emphasise with the Geen-A floor lamp.

Geen-A is manufactured by the Italian company Kartell, which has been committed to sustainability since its foundation in 1949. Thanks to extensive research, it is able to use materials that can be regenerated and have no negative impact on the environment. The raw materials used are recyclable and, thanks to the material processing methods, can be given a new lease of life in industrial products.
