Suspension lamp Light-Air with textured shade


Made entirely of thermoplastic technopolymer, Light-Air pendant lamp was designed by Eugeni Quitllet, a Catalan designer, for the Kartell brand. Light-Air is very puristic without great details or a flashy design. It is a modern, functional lamp that has been reduced to the essentials: a suspension and a shade. However, the shade, which is attached only to a rectangular plastic plate, has a textured surface through which the light is refracted and emitted into the room in a unique way.

The Italian company Kartell is a manufacturer with history. It has been producing its designer pieces in Italy for over 70 years, and to honor this history, Kartell even opened its own museum at the company's headquarters just over 20 years ago. Kartell regularly collaborates with internationally recognized designers and continues to come up with new creations - in 2020, it was the presentation of the first chair made of 100% recycled thermoplastic technopolymer at imm cologne and Maison et Objet.
