Planet LED floor lamp with striking light reflections
The slightly oval lampshade of the Planet LED floor lamp looks luxurious and high-quality when set upon the round, lacquered steel base. The shade is made of thermoplastic technopolymer and is a highlight in its own right. When switched on, the light from the warm white LEDs emanates from all sides of the lampshade and, thanks to the symmetrical pattern, creates a sparkling effect. A stepless dimmer with a memory function is also integrated.
The Planet model was developed by designer Tokujin Yoshioka. As well as lights, the Japanese designer also creates interior furnishings, with a particular penchant for transparent and futuristic designs. Planet is manufactured by the Italian design company Kartell, which collaborates with artists from all over the world.
