Kushi XL - Designer table lamp made of glass and metal


Functional lighting, harmonious aesthetics and creative design come together in Kushi XL to form an elegant table lamp.
Its creators are Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella; their concept has been transformed into a flawless object in collaboration with Italian manufacturer kdln and its expertise in materials and manufacturing techniques.

The lampshade is made of handblown, double-layered opal glass. The light, which can be dimmed using an integrated dimmer, is particularly even and pleasant. The frame is made of shiny copper-coloured lacquered metal and consists of two parts. A circular flat base supports a tall rod that seems to pierce the lampshade like a candied apple.
