kdln Tatu – the classic table lamp reinterpreted in a modern way

The modern design of the Tatu light was born from the desire to reinterpret the classic table lamp. In the end, only the lampshade remained of the original form, which is embedded here in a fine, metallic structure. The Italian design studio MrSmith is responsible for the design, choosing the number three from the East African Swahili language for the name of its creation. The geometric triangle is reflected in the surrounding metal frame, which encloses the classic lampshade on both sides.

Tradition and modernity are reflected in the innovative design of this table lamp. The contrast between the voluminous lampshade and the minimalist frame creates a special symbiosis that makes the Tatu table lamp unique. Whether as a decorative design object or as a particularly attractive light source, Tatu is ideal for both purposes.
