The Danish designer Mads Odgård, who has dedicated himself to minimalism in his work and works according to the maxim of creating comprehensible products that give as much space to function as to Form and quality, is responsible for the design, which is very aesthetic in its outstanding simplicity. He has achieved this with the Above pendant light, whose pleasant light is well reflected by the matt white lacquered inside of the aluminium shade and emitted very homogeneously downwards, while at the same time escaping discreetly through the upper opening, creating an incomparable ambience. In line with this principle, light is incorporated into the designs so that the resulting products not only embody formal aesthetics, but the quality of the light ultimately determines the form.
