AJ Eklipta glass wall lamp for indoors and out


This harmoniously designed wall light comprises three layers of opal glass, which have been hand-blown. It features a clear edge, which lends the light a crown of light when the light is switched on. If AJ Eklipta is installed as a wall light, it can be used both indoors and out thanks to IP code IP44. It can also be used indoors as a ceiling light (IP20).

The architect Arne Jacobsen designed the AJ Eklipta wall light back in 1959 for the town hall in Rødovre. It is a simple beauty that suits many different interior styles and guarantees harmonious ambient lighting. Jacobsen always cared about the details in his architectural designs, including cutlery, wallpaper, lights and more.

The manufacturer Louis Poulsen focuses on the Scandinavian principle of “Form following function” and aims to produce lights that meet the human need for light in a special way and that look appealing even when switched off.
