Product description

Cirque: designer pendant light in a grey and white block stripe pattern The onion-shaped lampshade of the Cirque pendant light, painted in various shades of grey, is made of drawn aluminium and its shape is inspired by the onion domes in the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen. This source of inspiration is not surprising when you consider that the designer Clara von Zweigbergk designs lights for the Danish manufacturer Louis Poulsen and that the briefing for this light series took place at the time in Tivoli, the famous amusement and leisure park in the Herz of Copenhagen.


The lampshade is painted white on the inside, ensuring optimum Reflexion of the light, which is directed downwards and also emitted without glare. After studying graphic design, Stockholm designer Clara von Zweigbergk worked for advertising agencies and design studios in Stockholm, Los Angeles and Milan. She now has her own Studio. She has already been honoured with the Wallpaper Design Award and the Swedish Design Award.
