Elegantly designed Flindt LED wall lamp – Ø 30 cm
The Flindt wall lamp, which stands out thanks to its highly expressive lighting, casts indoor and outdoor spaces in a whole new light. The creator of this subtly designed yet highly distinctive light source is the Danish designer Christian Flindt, who, with the Flindt wall lamp, continues the product range he has already developed for Louis Poulsen. The designer has been working in his own studio since 2003 and has been collaborating with Louis Poulsen, the world-renowned manufacturer of high-quality designer lights in the Scandinavian style, since 2006. In 2014, he was awarded the ELFORSK Prize by the Danish Ministry of Energy and Electricity for the bollard light of the same name.
Viewed from the side, the Flindt LED wall light resembles a slender ellipse formed by two overlapping ovals. The shape is slightly raised from the wall mounting, creating the illusion that the light is floating. To achieve a harmonious balance between proportions, curves and light, Christian Flindt combined software technology, state-of-the-art 3D printing processes and die-cast metal in the design of this wall lamp. The light is produced by two warm white LEDs, emitted through the opening at the top and distributed downwards. As some of the light is emitted towards the rear, this creates indirect, crescent-shaped lighting with a very atmospheric effect.
