Perfectly shaped table lamp Panthella with fantastic light effect


The table lamp Panthella consists entirely of plastic and was manufactured in the injection molding process. The shade is made of acrylic in opal white, so that the radiating light of the shade is not only reflected directly downwards, but also penetrates gently through the material into the environment. A very atmospheric lighting mood is created. The Panthella table lamp is operated via a switch located on the supply cable.

The design of the table lamp Panthella comes from Verner Panton (1926-1998), a Scandinavian designer who, unlike many of his contemporaries, was not afraid to experiment boldly with materials and colours in his designs. His ambition was to challenge people to use their imagination through his work.

The luminaire manufacturer Louis Poulsen has set itself the goal of meeting the natural human need for light with products that are not given their shape for their own sake, but to give shape to the light they produce.
