Robust PH 3-2 1/2 path light with triple lampshade

This path light also acts as an eye-catching feature on the property when the light is not switched on. It is made of stainless steel and painted black. The lampshade was created based on the triple lampshade system designed by Poul Henningsen back in 1925/26. The three shade elements draped one above the other create homogeneous and glare-free lighting, as the reflective triple shade system directs the light directly downwards. To further optimise reflection, the inner sides of the shades are painted white.

If the light is to be recessed into the floor, the ground anchors available as accessories are required for fastening.

Poul Henningen worked closely with Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen for decades until his death. The writer, journalist and architect soon focused his professional career on lighting design and, in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, created a series of world-famous lighting classics such as PH Artichoke, PH Snowball and PH 5.
