Wall lamp PH 2/1 - a design classic with atmospheric lighting effect


The design lamps by Poul Henningsen are characterized by the three-part shade, which directs the light of the inserted lamp mainly downwards and distributes it evenly and glare-free in the environment. The wall lamp PH 2/1 consists of a round metal wall holder as well as an arm made of metal, which protrudes into the room. The three-part shade made of mouth-blown opal glass is connected to the holder. The upper shade element has a diameter of 20 cm, the other two elements come from the lamp 1/1. On the wall bracket is the switch for switching on or off.

A wall lamp that not only provides atmospheric accent lighting in combination with many home styles, but also ensures a special lighting mood with its sophisticated design.

The designer Poul Henningsen worked closely with the lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen from 1925 until his death in 1967. He implemented the premise of the company "design should give form to light" in numerous lamp designs.
