Designer pendant lamp PH 5 in modern monochrome optics provides diffuse light


The classic striking design of the famous pendant lamp PH 5 is complemented by the monochrome colours and the matt lacquered shades with an up-to-date look. Thanks to the interesting three-shade system, the light keeps reflecting itself. The majority of the generated light is emitted downwards, the output is completely glare-free and immerses the room in a cozy atmosphere. Through the light rays that are emitted to the side, it is ensured that the entire room is discreetly illuminated and also the lamp itself begins to shine.

The graceful connecting rods made of rolled aluminium give the luminaire a special touch and underline the variety of forms of the PH 5, which perfectly complement each other and are rounded off with the uniform colouring. Especially in the living and dining area, this pendant lamp is a true lighting accessory that provides good basic lighting in addition to its appealing appearance.

The pendant lamp PH 5 was designed in 1958 by the Danish designer Poul Henningsen. It was his response to the ever-changing shapes and sizes of light bulbs. It owes its name to the size of the main shade, which has a diameter of 50 cm. The designer lived from 1894 to 1967 and created numerous designer lamps for the Danish traditional company Louis Poulsen, which has been producing designer lamps for over 100 years.
