PH 5 500 Pastels designer pendant light in delicate pastel shades

The PH 5 500 designer pendant light has been expanded to include variants in delicate pastel colours as part of the Pastels range. Like all luminaires in the PH 5 series, this one also creates a unique lighting effect without glare thanks to its interesting three-shade system, as the light from the bulb is repeatedly reflected by the lampshades, creating a very cosy atmosphere whilst also providing good general lighting in the room. The lampshades and the light source’s suspension system have been designed in a range of delicate, matt pastel colours. In the living room, dining room or kitchen, the PH 5 500 Pastels pendant light becomes a source of light that provides good general illumination whilst also serving as a striking focal point above a table.

The PH 5 pendant light series was originally created in 1958 by the Danish designer Poul Henningsen. The light was his response to the constantly changing shapes and sizes of traditional light bulbs at the time. Poul Henningsen designed numerous designer lights for the Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen, a long-established company that has been producing designer lights with a very special flair for more than 100 years.
