Designer pendant lamp PH 5 in a modern monochrome look provides diffused light


The classic striking design of the famous pendant lamp PH 5 is complemented by the monochrome colors and matte lacquered shades with a current look. Thanks to the interesting three-shade system, the light keeps reflecting itself. In the process, the majority of the light produced is emitted downwards. The output is completely glare-free and immerses the room in a cozy atmosphere. The light beams that are emitted to the side, it is ensured that the entire room is discreetly illuminated and also the lamp itself begins to shine.

The graceful connecting rods made of rolled aluminum give the luminaire a special touch and underline the variety of shapes of PH 5, which perfectly complements it and is rounded off with the uniform color scheme. Especially in the living room and dining room, this pendant lamp is a real lighting accessory, which, in addition to its attractive appearance, provides good basic lighting.

The pendant lamp PH 5 was designed in 1958 by the Danish designer Poul Henningsen. It was his response to the ever-changing shapes and sizes of light bulbs. It owes its name to the size of the main shade, which has a diameter of 50 cm. The designer lived from 1894 to 1967 and created numerous designer lamps for the traditional Danish company Louis Poulsen, which has been producing designer lamps for over 100 years.
