Stylish VL Ring Crown hanging light from Denmark


The VL Ring Crown hanging light is made of handblown opal glass and skilfully shows off modern rooms in particular. The light is primarily directed downwards, but is also gently distributed in all directions through the white glass. Especially in a dining room, the hanging light illuminates the activities at the table with its direct light and also produces a comfortable atmosphere throughout the room at the same time.

The frame with a 69 cm diameter is made of untreated brass and is attached to the ceiling by steel cables.

Vilhelm Lauritzen designed VL Ring Crown in the 1940s. In so doing, he created a new kind of hanging light at that time. The designs were conceived for the Radiohuset broadcasting building, which was also designed by him.
