Wall lamp Marx made of stainless steel and wood with indirect light


The design of this wall lamp is absolutely visionary: The material combination of brushed stainless steel and wood is very trendy; however, Marx was already designed in 1928 by the Austrian architect Richard Neutra (1892 - 1970).

The base is a flat stainless steel wall plate. This is connected to the front structure at the top by a forward bend and at the sides by seven horizontal struts each, which appear as shadow lines on the wall when in use. The latter is designed as an open, high rectangle of stainless steel and wood. The socket is located behind a screen in the shape of a halved cylinder, so that the light is reflected from the wall and the stainless steel plate into the room.

Not only the timeless design, but also the impeccable quality of the wall lamp made by the Italian manufacturer Martinelli Luce make Marx a high-quality, stylish light source for living rooms and lounges.
