Product description

Dimmable Pipistrello LED table lamp, height-adjustable Pipistrello is a classic luminaire that has not only won numerous awards, but is also exhibited in numerous museums around the world. Its slender but striking design is memorable and gives the LED table lamp a unique look with recognition value. The base is equipped with a telescopic device from the centre, which is made of satin-finished stainless steel and immediately comes into focus. It allows the height of the light to be adjusted from 66 to 86 cm. The semi-circular plastic lampshade sits enthroned on this striking base and its opal surface creates a diffuse light that is emitted into the room from all sides. Divided into four elements, the lampshade also looks very elegant and unique. The brightness of the light can be adjusted using the integrated dimmer on the cable, allowing Pipistrello to adapt to the situation and create a cosy atmosphere for relaxation as well as pleasant general lighting. The origins of this series can be traced back to 1965. Pipistrello was created by the Italian designer and architect Gaetana "Gae" Aulenti (1927-2012) for the manufacturer Martinelli Luce, which still produces the table lamp today.
