Melampo notte bedside light with tiltable shade


The base and frame are made of grey-lacquered zamac alloy, the shade of white-grey satin-silk and everything housed under a classic table lampshade - this is the Melampo notte bedside light which, as its name suggests is used as a bedside lamp ("notte” being the Italian for night). The cone-shaped lampshade can be tilted slightly to the side (30 degrees) and can therefore be turned towards the user. This makes it easier to use as a reading lamp on the bed. Includes in-line switch on cord.

French designer Adrien Gardère works with his projects all over the world. His fields include furniture, lighting, product design as well as exhibition and museum design . He designed the Melampo table light series for the lighting manufacturer Artemide. Artemide is one of the world's most famous designer lighting manufacturers. Our own production facilities, glass factories and our own innovation and research centre form the basis for the success of Artemide along with our well-known national and international designers.
