Danish designer pendant light Karl-Johan by Signe Hytte


Designer Signe Hytte drew inspiration for her series of lights, Karl-Johan, from an autumn forest excursion, as her lights resemble mushrooms in shape. The bulbous glass lampshade is the most striking feature of the pendant light in this series. Inside are LEDs.

Signe Hytte designed this series of lights for the Danish design company New Works. In addition to lights, New Works also manufactures furniture and other interior design items. The Copenhagen-based company combines design and art in the style of Scandinavian minimalism.
