Design wall lamp Karl-Johan with glass shade


The wall lamp Karl-Johan is a design by Signe Hytte, a Danish designer who designs and creates for the company New Works, among others. Hytte got the inspiration for Karl-Johan during a walk in the autumnal forest. The mushroom shape of the lampshade is unmistakable. The wall mount is made of oak wood, the sphere-like shade of glass.

The lamp series Karl-Johan by Signe Hytte is produced and distributed by the Danish company New Works. The assortment of the Copenhagen company includes furniture as well as lamps and other decoration and furnishing items. The style can be described as a mixture of design and art in the sense of Scandinavian minimalism.
