Lantern Globe table lamp made of opal glass with dimming function
A ribbed opal glass shade in the shape of a sphere and a discreet black steel base form the design of the Lantern Globe table lamp, a design object from the renowned manufacturer New Works. The two artists Anderssen & Voll were inspired by a traditional Chinese rice paper lantern when designing the light, which is reflected 100% in the design of the Lantern Globe light. The round opal glass shade with its ribbed surface creates a light and weightless lantern look. As with a real rice paper lantern, the light is gently dimmed by the lampshade and evenly distributed throughout the room. Without glare, the light accentuates its surroundings and creates a cosy atmosphere. A dimmer has been installed for individual brightness control (only suitable for use with dimmable bulbs).
