Oslo Wood designer floor lamp: black frame, green lampshade


The Oslo Wood floor lamp stands for a modern Nordic design and reflects the affinity to nature of the Scandinavian style. The designer Ove Rogne was inspired by the play of light and shade in the city trees. Just as the trees in the city filter the urban light that gently lights up the night’s sky above the city, Otto Wood lights up its surrounding area in a unique and individually adjustable way. There is a gimbal attached to the top of the frame, allowing the lampshade to pivot the whole way around. You can also use the built-in dimmer switch to adjust the light output.

Ove Rogne, the creator of Oslo Wood, who was previously a management consultant, wanted to work more creatively and founded Northern Lighting in 2005 with three good friends. The company has been called Northern since 2018 and now also sells furniture and home accessories.
