Spherical LED table lamp Eva with variable light emission This spherical LED table lamp Eva was created by designer Francesca Borelli for Oluce. Das's design consists of the contact between light, form and movement. With its colour and shape, EVA is reminiscent of a solar eclipse, as the indirect light is shielded by a black, round cover inside the black sphere. This circular cover can be moved inwards and outwards, so that the resulting spiral of light sometimes exposes more and sometimes less of the gold leaf trimming on the Innes of the sphere. The varying amounts of light create an intimate atmosphere in a playful way. Francesca Borelli is a young Italian who has a penchant for furniture design and whose work is characterised by an emotional and conceptual nature. Das interplay of forms and colours is her focus. Oluce has been the oldest Italian design company in the lighting world since 1945 and is still active, structuring its collection like a story. The range of products is rich and varied and is recognised worldwide as design icons.
