Canopy LED pendant light with flat, glossy lampshade


The Canopy LED pendant light owes both its shape and its name to the ceiling rose, one of the simplest and most often neglected elements of lighting technology, used to conceal the cables coming down from the ceiling. Francesco Rota revisits this shape, enlarging and refining it to make it the focal point of the design – a large metal shade available in a range of sought-after colour combinations. Inside the dome is a special light source, the circline LED, which diffuses a soft, smooth light into the surrounding area.

Founded in 1945, Oluce is the oldest Italian design company in the lighting sector still in business today. The design qualities of its lights make them icons that last for generations and become an integral part of the living spaces they furnish.
