PH 3 1/2 - 2 1/2 table lamp – timeless design classic made of metal and glass

This high-quality light source from Danish manufacturer Louis Poulsen offers glare-free lighting and an elegant look. The name PH stands for the initials of the designer, architect, journalist, author and critic Poul Henningsen, who designed the concept for the light back in 1925/26 and collaborated with Louis Poulsen for a total of 42 years.

This version of the table lamp features a metal frame with a velvety, matt brown copper coating. This adorns the base, stand and lampshade holders. The latter is designed in the characteristic pattern of the series of lights PH. Several layers, from an upper, only slightly curved layer to a lower, almost cylindrical layer, complement each other in such a way that they mutually reflect the light from the centrally placed bulb and emit it indirectly into the room. The top layer is spun-cast aluminium, powder-coated on the outside and painted white on the inside. The middle and bottom elements are made of handblown opal glass, which is sandblasted on the inside and glossy on the outside.
