Cylindrical Philips Hue White Ambiance Pillar spotlight

The Philips Hue Pillar spotlight allows you to highlight and illuminate specific areas in your living space, as the light from the built-in GU10 LED bulb can be directed towards a desired area simply by adjusting the reflector. The GU10 reflector inside is equipped with smart ZigBee technology, allowing the Pillar spotlight to be integrated into an existing Philips Hue smart home system. Once the light has been successfully paired with the appropriate Hue Bridge (see accessories), the Pillar can be controlled using your own smartphone or tablet via the Hue app. Whether you want to dim the light, set timers, link it with other lights or change the light colour, the app reliably controls the Pillar spotlight and the entire Hue system – even when you’re out and about.

Alternatively, the Pillar spotlight can also be controlled using a compatible dimmer switch (not included; see accessories). This works with or without a connection to a smart home system. In non-smart home mode, you can switch the light on and off, dim it, and select from four different pre-set scenes. With a smart home system, however, buttons can also be assigned to custom lighting recipes, allowing the switch to be used as an additional control alongside the app.
