24 V LED ground light strip Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance Amarant for wide-area lighting outdoors


Larger sections in the outdoor area, such as trees, hedges, garden pavilions or facades, can be effectively accentuated with the Philips Hue ground light Amarant. It creates a flat wallwashing light effect to one side - thanks to White and Color Ambiance technology, optionally in warm white to daylight white, any colored hue and infinitely adjustable brightness. To control Amarant, it is integrated into Philips Hue or another ZigBee-based system via a bridge (see accessories). Depending on the configuration, this enables operation via app, in scenes with other smart outdoor lights or via voice command.

Amarant comes with an angle profile that allows the light strip to be aligned and supported on ledges, and prevents back glare. Operation is with 24 V extra-low voltage; suitable power supply units for 230 V connection are not supplied and must be ordered via the accessories. As Amarant has an output as well as an input, several units can be connected and operated in series.

Note: For the smooth functioning of the Hue outdoor lighting, the first outdoor light should be max. 10 m away from the indoor bridge or a Hue lamp. After that, all other lights should be installed at a distance of max. 20 m. However, the smaller the distance, the better.
